The real question is this:

Say you take time to cook a pot of chilli, are you, or are you not, a total slut if you eat chilli with toast, baked totties, pasta and rice all in a row?

My personal opinion is that it is all gravy. Spicy gravy , maybe, but gravy nonetheless.

I always hesitate to bring up gravy and casseroles when Teebehemoth is prowling but I feel he might have something worthwhile to contribute in this case. Place your recipes here and let them live long and prosper (i.e. get et)


I can't contribute much except for this:

See if you want shoop and are fed up with the pish you get in cans....

Get a whole chicken (if cooked skip 1)

1) cook it in the oven for ages
2) tear all the gid bits aff it
3) tear all the shiter bits aff it
4) put it in a big pot half filled water and bile for as long as you can be arsed (hour min)
5) Drag the carcass oot and put the stock (cos that's what you just made) into something.
6) If you have a midsize chucken and midsize pot then put in half your stock and 400ml water and one chicken stock cube + whatever you fancy in your stew.7) Boil fuck out it for a bit (30 -120 mins it's your call)
8) Eat it. Hopefully with a steak McCoys sandwich.

and caldo eating chilli all the time does make you a bit of a midden, eating it with toast makes you a filthy street walker. are you talking about just whacking in some warburtons, slapping on a bit of butter and covering it in chilli. thats reprobate styleee.

baked potato is pushing the boat, ive always thought that was a bit sketchy though you get away with it by virtue of the fact other bawbags eat it. nobody eats it on toast, well nobody with any self respect anyway.

buy some pita bread for yer chilli or some nachos, that and rice are the most respectable way of using it. putting it on pasta, well keep it on the lowdown and you can pass it off as bolognase.

fuck all this talk of chilli is making me hungry...

I have eaten chilli with toast before and it was really nice, also, stick a big spoonfull of sour cream into the chilli and mix it up and see how damn good it tastes! Mmmm mmmm yes siree. I wouldn't have thought to have it with pasta before but i will venture into making this strange concoction at some point soon!

Hi Dave, maybe Danny Mills is a wanker because he has an "infro". Scrubs tells me that is what happens when you shave your head too much and the hair starts to grow in the way.

A tattie scone on a roll and snatch is perfectly acceptable Giz. I'd say it's positively encouraged by most worthwhile human beings. If it's not, it should be. Also, your coupon in that last pic is outstanding.

i have many a time chowed down on a bowl of chilli with nothing but cheese on it and had some slices of warbies as a dipper/cleaner. toast isnt that bad either. chilli sandwiches, albeit messy, do rock.

Ever tried Scotch pie in a roll? sounds like something id come out with i know, but it is actually mad good. get a buttered roll from greggs and a scotchpie and whack it in. what a meal.
