look how glamorous it is, this if from two years ago when we did it for my 21st
and lest we forget
this is a copy and paste of the review the following day, i hardly remember some of them near the end
fat boabs - 7/10 - had the comedy drunk which was good seen as it was barely the afternoon but the banter was minimal as we tried to make up for lost time and cause of the fact we were sober, plus my line got fucked at this early stage.
the glaswegian - 4/10 - pish choice of beer, tennants or tennants is baws and whilst the surroundings were alright you can tell it is full of scum at night and i want a fan of her majesty on the wall or the navy recruiting video on the big screen (especially as there was footy on). bonus points for the dartboard mind.
the laurieston - 8/10 - a funny smell inside but the guy behind the bar was a traditional banter giver and i used the toilet three times.
the honours three - 10/10 - after the first three was the kind of place that i would actually go for a pint if i lived near it. nice decor, nice toilet, had the half times on the big screen, decent selection of beer and some good smelling food.
the doctors - 5/10 - i was expecting it to get a zero, especially after i clocked the uvf and bnp 'graf' in the toilets but the banter was alright and ross doing blazing squad on the karaoke was funny as fuck.
the pub in cessnock 6/10 - it had a stupid name but i dont remember it, we were in here for only a few minutes and the rush made hunter chunder. it had dodgy saudi tv on and my pint was fine but it was an in out job so the banter was lacking a little.
the stadium - 8/10 - i was expecting an uber shitheep but it was alright. quiz maching, a man and a dog, chippy nearby. apart from the smell of ibrox this place was fine.
brechin bar - 7/10 - a big huge bar but the bogs were rubbish, people were getting noticeably steamin at this point.
hayburn vaults - 9/10 - no complaints whatsoever, a nice pub
the dolphin - 6/10 - we had to go hear for duffys sake, there had been one orange pub too many up until now but it was fucking tiny plus somebody (maybe ferg) spilled his drink. good bit of banter with some celtic fans though, and some guy strainy knew as well apparently.
jinty mcginty's - 9/10 - had to stand outside cause it was so mobbed but i knew it was a good pub already. was nice to get a bit of fresh air and the smell from the ashoka was immense. somebody spilled a drink outside and it smashed (maybe ferg) and this was ross' final calling point due to be hammer smashed face.
bar oz - 9/10 - been there a million times, its a nice pub, simple.
the captains rest - 6/10 - dont remember much about it so it couldnt have been that good, get bonus points for having a good name.
macintosh's bar - 5/10 - i think we went to that one, fuck knows i really dont remember anything about it apart from having a pint and sitting down. i dont remember getting on or off the train at this stop.
firewater - 7/10 - packed as usual and i felt wasted by now, thankfully i perked up on the way to furys and was fine from then on, ripped but fine
