id happily just get a train to cologne and then fly back thats well gonna be the best part of the trip. and the train goes glasgow - london - brussels - cologne. but aye assuming i get a job soon im in i reckon. although i dont think we should book anything too soon because lets be honest rage wont just be doing these festivals and there could be a better european festival they play. somewhere that is warmer and not full of germans for example.

Have you ever been to germany teeb? Its fuckin qualitag. Better than fuckin france or spain or anyshit IMO. I love the germans! all good banter when i went to berlin.

Rage will most likely do another couple of festys aye, leeds/reading maybe even. But fuck going there, and i reckon mid/south germany in june will be warmth enough for us.

I reckon we'd need to be looking to start getting booked up ticket/travel wise in Feb.

surely you would need to get to rock am ring in february just to reserve a fuckin space, you know what these bastards are like with their towels and tents trying to keep a bleedin space. i dont mean hold out for them doing a british festival just see where else they do in europe and who else is playing alongside them at the various festivals.

dont budapest have a big festival? dom and i will show you all a good time in the fantastic gentlemans club we went to last time.

Just looking at 'Pinkpop' festival which also looks quite good.

Its on 26th- 28th of May in Landgraaf, The Netherlands. Bit earlier than rock am ring, but cheaper at €115,00 (3 days festival incl. Camping).

Pinkpop Festival

The Netherlands most famous open-air festival PINKPOP will take place for the 38th time in the city of Landgraaf at the beautiful festivalsite MEGALAND, 134 miles from Amsterdam, near the city of Heerlen and situated in the most South bound province of Limburg.

Their lineup seems...ok. Theyve not added RATM to it, as i think it was only recently announced that theyd be playing. You've still got shit like Korn, Marlyin Manson, Linkin Park, Smashing Pumpkins etc... but no metallica, no motorhead.

Might not be your thing but just to keep you in the loop, there another festival called Hurricane in the north of Germany just outside of Bremen. It had a great atmosphere last year.
