Going to committee meetings is a really good way to get involved but by no means the only way. I've been involved in social on and off for about 3 years now and have been to about tem meetings in that time. It's easy to get in touch with convenors on
committeename@qmu.org.uk of if you see them just ask if you can help with something. Fror example on the evening of a quiz, there's almost always a round to be wriiten or on deadline days qmunicate is almost always a couple of articles short. Just try it.
