It's been pretty good the past few weeks. Mario Kart is so much more fun when you're playing against folks that you know.

I may actually try and advertise this properly at some point. Also, I'm going to harass Gary until we get more power sockets for charging madness.

We should petitions some developers to make a stitch and bitch game on the DS, you could use the touch screen to knit, and the inbuilt mic to bitch. Wireless play with up to 8 friends for maximum excitement.

How can you be old-school when the ds has only been out for a year?

Edit: actually, it occurs to me that you don't even need to be in lacuna to join, just to know the right server or people's user names or whatever and you can play anywhere. even me! if you post the relevant info i'll play some night. mint.

The Original (or 'Phat') DS was released in early 2005 It is 'old skool'.

The problem was that no-one payed the DS much attention until the trendy 'lite' version came out.

Oh, ok, I have a phat one, I didn't realise it was a badge of honour. I'll play it with pride now. You have to admit, though, the Lite does look damn sweet.

You need friend codes for Mario over the interwebs. We generally play local games with each other, which means you need to be in wireless range.

Dear god - it's already old skool!? Also, someone should of told me no one paid it much attention [lusted after one since before it came out but had to wait for the Lite cos my crippleness means the original is too heavy for me ]
