| Re: New Solid Rock Cafe website Nice.. slick and minimalist....
However.. to be a little more realistic, the music should be MUCH LOUDER.. and slightly distorted..

| Re: New Solid Rock Cafe website Pretty slick stuff.
The only thing missing is some more photos. There's certainly enough blinding flashes going on throughout the place at the weekends to warrant more photos.
Maybe a thread asking for regulars to submit their best ones or something? |

| Re: New Solid Rock Cafe website I like the idea but on a critical side.
Can't turn the music off. I personally HATE being forced to listen to music on websites.
Link to the Forums was a pain to find
Why is it done in flash, don't really think it was needed.
Not enough posters on the walls.
Still as I said I like the concept and just being picky

I'll maybe look into getting a little off button added for the tunes, and to be honest I have no idea why it was done in flash as I am a bit retarded when it comes to web design. Took me fucking ages to find the forum link as well, I reckon I'll try and get JP to jst add a link at the bottom of each page. |

Anyway nearly everyone has flash now so you should have anyone not being able to see the site because of it, so don't worry about that really.

| Re: New Solid Rock Cafe website Agree about the music; it's obviously an important part of what the place is about so a good way to convey the atmosphere of the place etc etc but yeah, some people don't wanna have noise especially if they're at work!
And yeah, took me a moment to manage to click through to the forum - because the whole sentence is the same colour, it's not obvious you need to click on exactly on the word HERE rather than anywhere on that line or whatever.
But that aside, great job, it looks full of goffs inviting

| Re: New Solid Rock Cafe website i quite like it only thing i'd say is that you've got a couple of unnecessary apostrophes and capital letters in the copy (night's, say's, Hire Out) which kinda grates a wee bit.

These will be rectified over the weekend! |
