Sure it still gets checked and cleaned, even if its not quite as regularly as the other toilets? I wouldn't think the onus would be on the punter to have to point things out, especially if the place is busy at the time or whatever.

of course it's cleaned every day, but it's easy to miss something as small as the barrel of a lock missing.

For future reference though, as someone who doesn't use the disabled toilet and therefore unlikely to notice it, you might get a quicker reaction by having a word directly with a member of management in the pub rather than joining a forum to state your case?

Aye, broken locks in toilets do my head in, particularly as they're so easily fixed. When I worked in bars I always checked all the locks before opening up - it really isn't that difficult.

Look the reason i didn't say to the bar staff is that their kinda busy pulling drinks and its really loud, i dont want to scream "CAN YOU PUT A LOCK ON THE DISABLED TOILET!!"
Someone told me that this was the quickest way to get something done coz the management check this forum. It would be really cool if it had a lock...i wouldn't feel all anxious when i go to the toilet. Funny thing is they repainted the door but never bothered to put a new lock on...i was wondering, maybe they need funding and if so...i would pay for it, if thats a problem.
