I was raised a Catholic, went to church every Sunday, did my communion and confirmation (along with getting a very silly confirmation name) and was even, wait for it, an "alter girl" until I got to about 14, finally realized it was a load of rubbish and have been an athiest ever since.

Brought up vaguely C of S as in went to Sunday school, anchor boys, boy's brigade. To be honest I think my folks just sent me for the social side of it (BB. football, etc) as neither are particularly religious (don't think they even went to church when I was attending BB).
After they split up when I was about 8 and my mum moved us down south for a few years I only ever went to school services and haven't been to church for anything other than weddings, funerals etc or the occasional Xmas service since.
I don't have much time for religion and am probably some kind of agnostic atheist or whatever.
