For all intents and purposes I would guess the "de facto" belief system in Glasgow is Secular. That or some nebulous deist thing.
Although more people might identify as Catholics or Protestants.
Whats the general religion of all you folks in Glasglow?
I dated a gal from N. Ireland and she came over being... methodist I guess. Her dad and I always talked about different shit and he grew up in the ghetto dealing with all the Prods v. Catholics stuff.
I personally grew up Lutheran but around the age of 17-18 stopped believing. I am now considered agnostic by most.

I was brought up Catholic (Irish maternal grandparents), went through all of the sacraments up to and including confirmation (St Francis of Assisi), Catholic education and church every Sunday (and every fucking day in Easter week) until my early adolescence.
Now I'm rather firmly a soft atheist (hawhawhaw).
Willies.
i was say about 30% of ppl in glasgow are atheists or are too lazy for religion.
Atheist. Was given strongly Christian messages in the Brownies and Guides (no specific messages, religious or atheist, from anywhere else) and was agnostic until the age of about 12 before getting more into science-y things and losing my faith altogether.
Atheist
Protestant; specifically Congregationalist
was brought up as a prodestant, but in Argyll, not Glasgow, so although I knew I was a Christaian, wasn't really aware there was much of a difference between prodestants and catholics. Now I'm probably either a really really doubtful agnostic or an athiest.
Some Glaswegian athiests/agnostics still seem to say they are either prodestants or catholics, but that is more of a retarded culture thing.
Atheist here.
Protestant here, presbyterian.
Brought up a Roman Catholic, don't practise it at all but I've still got a wee place for folks faith/religion in my heart. You can probably put me down as agnostic.
