A very simplified theory I have is that it seems good means following a long list of rules that 'god' or a higher being has set for us, which is a very constricting way of life, but apparently promises great consequences, and bad involves reacting to impulses, being spontaneous and going against these rules and suffering negative consequences.
the consequences being a thing that no one on the planet has any certainty, actualy exists.
Big of a mind bender I know...

i dont believe there is a god, everything good and bad thats happened in this world has been a direct result of human beings, we are a distructive force and some dont care about others or thier surrounding, it can all be put down to man

I just went to see 'Knowing' in the cinema today, its all about that subject. It has a biblical theme, but its all about science. Its the argument about whether the world / universe is based on random acts, or pre determined fate. Really interesting film. got my head going.

The information was volunteered to me the other day when I was walking to work that if I ate lots of pork products I would turn gay because God turned the first homosexuals into pigs. Not that I believe that shite but I have found myself thinking twice when I go to buy a sausage roll.
