Kidding yourself, but its your life.
Give me Fantasy Island any day, at least there was a story behind it.

Illogical responses mean Dharma's involvement.
Or maybe its a polar bear.
Or some spooky killer black smoke.
Worst written show ever. Surprised its kept going so long, but people seem to like having their intelligence insulted.

Pft, Mexican Standoff here. I concede. Nothing illogical about my responses though.

I said I prefer Fantasy Island, you said 'Nope.'
Makes about as much sense as Lost. Unless you really do know my tastes better than me.

Nice quick edit! Pure regretted saying that I was confused by the meaning of something almost immediately because I knew some smart fellow would post a quote from, gasp, THE DICTIONARY. Annoyed at not doing a nice quick edit myself.
Anyway, ACTUALLY DIVIDED HERE, between:
1. Going on a GEEK RAMPAGE.
2. Letting it go LIKE A NORMAL PERSON, plus the thread was derailed to fuck already so I shouldn't help the cause.
Nicely, managed to do both in one post. Bottom line is that people who don't like Lost make Baby Jesus cry.
By Baby Jesus, I mean me.
By cry, I mean "get annoyed".
"Kidding yourself".
"Nope".
Ignored the bit in between. Seemed inconsequential.

You make no sense, you rage over personal tastes, you misunderstand even the simplest of concepts.
You are Lost's target audience.
So you replied to the first two words of my post?
Even for fans of the show, its mainstay is constant intrigue without resolution, which can't be called anything but pretentious. The reason I posted the definition was to articulate that pretension isn't necessarily a bad thing. And, in the case of Lost, is one of the shows main selling points.

Damn straight I am.
All the internet is, is people raging over personal tastes. I don't think I need to caveat every post with a disclaimer stating that the post above only represents the views of the poster or shite. DO I MARK? Because I will if you want me to.
Anyway, I feel pretty good - I've been here for a good 7 years and this is the first time I've been on the receiving end of the forum daddies' ire. Must be some kind of record?

Here, was a guy who's a wrestler legit lecturing people about "stupid questions" and watching appropriate TV? Amazing.
Yo

I keep missing your edits! Anyway, the only bit I didn't like was the dictionary.fuckingcom bit, I'm no a mongo. Aside from that, I get it - I don't personally think it's pretentious and I do consider that as a negative thing, but thats fine. You can't be a fan of Lost still after all this time and not pure get this all the time from loads of folk anyway - just was being deliberately obtuse, forgetting that'll get you fuck all anywhere in life, least of all the internet.

Was directed at dictionary.com. I fucking HATE dictionary.com but it seemed appropriate as Lost is an American show and they can't speak English properly.
What about Lost being pretentious seems negative to you?
