I'm always wary of anti-English-ness but where sport is concerned, it does help reduce the intollerable smugness when they get humped.

Not that I hate England or English people (despite the fact I live in the godforesaken country), but it's the sheer fucking hype and media that surrounds any potential victory or progression in any sport. It's a total pain in the arse.

I just hate the English attitude toward everything they are involved in. If they were in our Euro Champ. Group, at the start they would have been saying qualification would be no problem(as the media said with the group they actually got  ), and even in our position our media still hasn't been more than hopefully optimistic.
Also this English/British when it suits them, fuck right off.
If Rangers do well in the CL is great for British football, if Chelsea do well it's great for English football.
Aye, we'll see you at the Championships next year...Oh wait to quote Ally Cameron:
"England canne dae it cause they didnae qualify".
