Fresh'N'Lo Great Scottish Run 2009

Sunday 6th September 2009.

I'll be doing the 10k again this year and looking to raise more than the £2700 for Cystic Fibrosis Trust than I did in '07.

Might go for the half marathon if training goes well.

Asked a few folk if they're up for it and so far Wee Andy Kimzor and Lewis Poison#X are intae it off the forum.

If you're trying to get in shape or lose a bit of weight it's good having something like this to work towards.

I had been thinking about running the 10k in Sept actually. Was going to see how I feel nearer the time as I've no idea if I'd even survive 5k right now.

I'm doing the ladies 10K in May and the EK 10K in June. I plan to keep my running up so I don't see why I shouldn't enter this as well

I done the half marathon last year, the atmosphere throughout the entire race was fantastic.

I loved the casual racism of having a piper every kilometre in the 10K, except along Albert Drive where they had Bhangra drummers of some kind.

You get a free t-shirt and tinfoil survival blanket, and I think some milk/water/chocolate/bananas at the end. not £20.50 worth mind you.
