| Re: The Rugby Thread Aye welcome to come mate.
Its going to be a good day. Get the train thru at like 10am. Pub for a few. Then to Murrayfield. 3 course lunch thing. 2 pints included in the price. And watch the rugby in one of the Murrayfield lounges on a big screen. Once thats finished, another pub. I can't wait.
Only happens once every 4 years.
We can cheer on the whole 2 Scottish players in the squad. Haha.

| Re: The Rugby Thread I thought I'd bump this as I have started playing rugby again. Wahey. Playing with Uddingston in Hydro West Divison 2 this year.
Had our first game of the season against Paisley just there. Just a friendly. Won 25 - 13 and they are a divison above us. We played awesome and I got a try with my first touch within a minute. Chuffed. Especially when I was playing on the right wing where I have never played before.
But aye. Yas.

| Re: The Rugby Thread I think we play Lanark not this weekend but next. Should beat them.
Its all been revamped, the leagues and cups, this season. What cup are yeese in? And more importantly any good away trips? We have a belter of a trip to Arran for a game which will be an overnighter. Which will involve loads of booze.
We got Clydedale in the cup with Oban or Clydebank up next if we win.
Our season is practially over by Febuary. 8 team leagues are gonna make for a short season.

I need to get back into rugby, but my physio's told me I shouldn't after dislocating my shoulder. Might try and get a game for a smaller team or maybe a 2nd or 3rd XV at a bigger team. |

Ellon, Berwick, Langholm and Annan are all a hell of a jaunt!
2nds have Melrose, Hawick and Perthshire as the big bus trips.
You boys are choosing to stay over in Arran, you can get the ferry back
Cup wise, we're in the Shield; Preston Lodge in the preliminary round and then Edinburgh Uni after we pump them!

Even at £140 it's not terrible though, if you were a golfer or something like that you'd be paying a lot more in green fees or some shit.
Plus, Uddy has a decent clubhouse, pitches, etc. Some of the clubs with really low subs are shitholes. Like Cambuslang or EK
