First I've heard of it. Then again, not surprising, seeing as paying attention to other people is not exactly my forté... Will just have to wait for the Tele's rambling, paranoid, sensationalist and greatly embellished coverage of events is, I suppose.
PS: Why have you put this thread under "The Steamie" section? Are you implying the regulars (assuming there's any left nowadays) are under suspicion? Haha.

The Steamie section was always pretty much the Greenock section. Seemed apt.
Now I'm hearing it was the Vicky Wine getting done at gun point. And the Kilmacolm Vicky Wine got done as well. And there's a big cargo boat stuck on a sand bank AND everyone's getting dressed up tonight and going to Red and I'm stuck here with bawjaws not getting off my lap so we can get tea.
I hate England.

The boat got refloated from a sandbank off Langbank at 1am on Saturday morning, courtesy of a high tide and five tugs.
The Kilmacolm Vikki Wine did indeed get held up a couple of days ago with some miscreant "and a silver coloured firearm" according to our illustrious local rag as did the Kilmacolm Co-op a few days before. Local rozzers reckons "it is the same gang/persons"
No idea about the Inverkip scenario, which is weird since I know someone who works in the Kip Marina, and you'd think he'd have told me. Git.
And aye, the bloke with a grands worth of coke was in Thursday(?) nights Tele... think he got more or less a slap on the wrist and told not to be a naughty boy.
Same old same old round these parts.

Damn right. Killy gossip is sparse at the best of times as far as I've heard, so they'll have a field day with an actual "event"
Bless 'em.... it'll save the goss at the shops about <whoevers> greenhouse being too near <someone else's> garden or whatever the fuck they usually talk about.
