As everyone should already know there's an ongoing concern that the AUT strikes will affect Strath's exams (along with all the other uni's). Anyone who hasnt been doing so should keep an eye on the Strath homepage for updates. I thought I'd mention this one specifically tho:

AUT Industrial Action - Meeting Tonight in Union Building
Message from Deputy President, Students' Association
As you may or may not be aware AUT members in the University are currently taking part in industrial action over proposed pay increases. This action is focusing on a boycott of student assessments and examinations. Many students are already expressing concerns over the AUT industrial action that could affect you.
As a result the Students' Association has arranged a meeting with the Vice-Principal, Professor Miller, and the Pro-Vice Principal, Professor Love, to discuss the University's position as a result of the industrial action and how best the University will cope with the action and protect the interest and needs of Strathclyde students. This also presents the opportunity for you to ask questions or raise any general concerns that you might have.
The meeting will take place on Monday the 24th of April at 5.15pm on Level 8 of the Union. If you are a representative from Jordanhill transport has been arranged and will be leaving from the front entrance of the David Stow building at 4.30 sharp. All students are welcome to attend.

From Pegasus. Basically anyone who feels especially worried about the position should go to the meeting this evening and get a first hand look at the problem. Personally I dont really care, I only have 2 exams and they make basically no difference to my final result at this point, but I know there's people around here who have Honours levels to achieve and might want to get along to this meeting and speak their mind. Here's hoping it all works out eh?
