**UPDATE FOR FINAL YEAR STUDENTS**
The industrial dispute is now reaching resolution with the lifting of the assessment boycott. Staff will be assessing work and returning marks for consideration by examination boards. The examination boards should now be in a much better position than thought likely a few days ago to reach decisions on degree classification for final year students.
The expectation is that the vast majority of final year students will now graduate as normal. In a few cases where marks may still not become available for students because of the timing of the end of the dispute in relation to the scheduled meeting of examination boards, departments will be seeking to reconvene boards.
It is anticipated that scheduled or reconvened examination boards will take confirmed decisions on degree classifications. The University is now seeking to determine whether there are any final year students for whom examination boards may not be in a position to reach decisions on degree classifications in time for graduation in June / July. If that proves to be the case, guidance will be posted on the way forward. It is anticipated that relatively few students will be affected in this way.
When definitive information becomes available on the timing of scheduled and reconvened examination boards, notification will be posted on Pegasus.
| That the one aye?

| Re: results It looks like most of us will be fine, apparently. I sort of suspect a lot of marks have already been done on the sly, strike or no.
