You'll be in either the Thomas Graham (right next to the Onion) or the Royal College, which is an ace building with hidden bits and odd passageways and a spiral staircase that *might* still give you access to the roof if you're willing to sneak through somebody's office.

The number of times I've gone for a wander in the Royal College and ended up somewhere I was quite clearly not meant to be

It's a little harder to do with the constant building and refurbishing going on these days, but I'm still finding little bits of it I hadn't seen before, and I've been there 5 years now

It's the testbed for some sort of dimensional folding technology, I'm sure. I still remember the first time I found the lift that goes up to the 7th floor …

I'm starting MSc Computer and Internet Technologies, I'll be on a high floor in Livvy Tower for most of the time I expect.

Just got a letter through today confirming my fees will be paid, and I get a decent grant (not a loan, yay).

Way back when I was a fresher I had a class in R667 or whatever that huge lectur theatre is called. Anyway, for some reason everyone had to move to a different room, on a lower floor. Some folk left the room, and everyone else followed, assuming they knew where they were going. So everyone went down the stairs, one level, then another, then another, then along a corrider, then round a corner, at which point the ceiling was too low to stand up. We were so fucking lost, I think we gave up trying to find the lecture room.

I've still heard ZERO from them, and haven't even applied to SAAS yet coz I don't have my effing number - is this bad?

You not even had the aknowledgment letters and stuff through? I dunno if it will be different for you than it was for me coz I did it through an access course thing and they fucked up my application and stuff. I'm sure I'd had all my confirmation and what not by this time though... give registry a phone if you're worried, I'm sure it'll be fine!
