Well I applied for the J+CC course, but got knocked back because I didn't send the folio in...gutted.

But I got into the general thingy.

Well, I hope so, Seph! Fingers crossed they accept me. I've heard so much good about it and it's made me really excited and I think I'll be crushed if I don't get in. Gah, I shouldn't even get my hopes up in the first place.

Are you doing the course, too? Which year?

I'm just starting the general course, but I'm assuming we'll be in the same class if I pick J+CC.

If you don't get into that course, you can take the more general degree course and pick J+CC, like me.

Oooh, so one *can* do J+CW in LASS? Awesome, awesome! Wouldn't they still want the portfolio, though, and accept mostly based on that? And how would the J+CW course differ from LASS with J+CW? Cause it seems like you could basically do the same thing by opting for either?

It's the exact same thing. If you want to do J&CW as a subject you need to apply with the portfolio and such, but apart from having that as one of your subjects it's the same as everyone else.

So what's the difference then? Between doing J+CW with say English and history and french, and doing LASS composed of J+CW, english, history and French?
