There is one structure for the LASS degree, you take five classes in first year, then two in second year, then go into your degree classes. You can take any one of the five subjects to degree level, but you can only take J&CW in first year (and then by extension onwards) if you applied specifically, with a portofolio, through UCAS or clearing. By the time you get to the start of term, it's too late to get into J&CW. If you've further questions, you can contact the course/department secretary, her address is on their website.

When applying through UCAS, do you state only J+CW, and then later you pick your other courses, or do you state all your desired courses in your UCAS application?
