Right, I'm told that I can't bring a friend from Stow Collage to any freshers stuff...is that true?

Please let there be a loophole. I hate not knowing people.

I think in the past they sent out extra guest passes, but not this year it seems. (but could be because I'm a postgrad 'fresher').

Normally you can sign in 4 folk.

Under the reciprocal agreement you're allowed 4 guests, but for Freshers at Strathclyde I'm fairly certain that it's only Freshers who are allowed to go and you have to present your matric card to buy a ticket or something.

I don't know, Fresher's ents at Strathclyde are generally pretty good in comparison to Caley. Latch on to someone at matriculation and drag them out with you, chances are they'll be a mate for a good few years.

Freshers Week is for sheepshagging weans who've never been in a city before. Everyone else quickly identifies that most of the events at Freshers Week are bullshit, and goes to proper clubs instead.

Last I heard freshers week is for Strath students only. Some events are freshers only, and you cant get a ticket without a Strath matric card.

I hate freshers week. You'll never see so many drunk teens on the bus in the middle of the afternoon

I couldn't believe the state of these 3 munters on the subway the other day, pissed out their nuts at noon and eating millies cookies. Your typical 'far too done up for uni' lassies giving it "aye man, this is pure amazing! omg we're so drunk! We're mental!". I was tempted to slap the 2 inches of makeup right off their faces, but then I remembered I'm a gent. So I quietly fumed instead.
