| GUST interview with NUS Scotland President As part of GUST's (Glasgow University Student Television) NUS referendum news special they've interviewed James Alexander, the current NUS Scotland president. Clicky here.
I feel dirty after watching it, but there again, I have an intense dislike of eerily smooth politicians (and indeed the NUS).
Thoughts? |

| Re: GUST interview with NUS Scotland President Crock of shite.
He's fiddling with his hands too much, makes it seem like he's lying...
Incidentally I'm not even half way through watching!

(That doesn't mean you should join NUS...) | |

The only thing he seems to think affiliating will do is give us representation on a national scale. We work perfectly well without them, if it ain't broke - don't fix it!

"We don't have a particular political affiliation with any one party."
"FACT ATTACK!"

GUST do try to keep their news reporting as impartial as possible, and leave the opinion and 'hard-hitting' interviews to their feature style shows, as far as I know, and I presume he'd never agree to a Martin Bashir style interview for the 'fact attack' reason alone. |

Besides, would you really want to listen/read information from a Biased organisation....
but genuinely, we're not allowed to hold a political stance on matters such as these, it would be seen that we might be 'influencing' our audience, and that just wouldn't be fair.
Is James Alexander aware that at present if NUS did get affiliation, the SRC would be buying from NUSSL for..er.. 4 vending machines? cause this video is taking Ages to download properly
