| Spss I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is a way of getting a copy of SPSS to use at home? I find it quite difficult to work in uni and have mainly been working from home, but have a shitload of data to put into SPSS. So, anyone know?

So, anyone know? | At MMU they had copies of SPSS that were licensed for one year for Postgrad. students - although I'm fairly sure that Undergraduate oiks like yourself were simply expected to use the Psychology depts. labs for spss
That said its probably worth emailing the course secretary or psychology technicians to see if SPSS is avaliable in any form from them and seeing if you can obtain it.
SPSS (15.0) currently retails at around - $1599...

| Re: Spss When I was at Strathclyde, they let you sign the discs out of the library for a day to install it at home. I think you had to authenticate it in some way though. It's been a while, my memory isn't great. |

| Re: Spss There's admin protection on the install files to stop you using them. If said files mysteriously appeared on my hard drive after leaving my pen drive, would the protection remain? I could copy the entire SPSS folder if that were possible *though it would of course be sub-legal...but that doesn't bother me too much
