| Strathclyde Uni - Accounts...Business or something
I have a friend in the Business side of it this year and she hates all of it apart from Accounts...she's considering leaving, but I'm trying to convince her that second year might well give her the accounts side on its own.
Anybody got a decent insight on this?

I can't comment on Strathy's stuff on its own, but I can say I hated business in first year as well, it was dreadful - it picks up markedly! | |

Aye, I know - I was the same in the first year, and discovered it switched round in second year.  Just a thought. I'm not sure she'll be able to drop the additionals till she starts in 3rd year, based on what everywhere else seems to do. | |

You pick two subjects in second year. Accounts and another. I picked finance. I think the classes are probably 50:50.
When you get to honours you can do single accounting.

I'm sure the only time i really got to pick classes was honours.
