kano, you know the thing where you can apparently turn up in full riding gear and pass an exam? did i imagine this? i'm sure i've heard it at least twice.

Aye, i've heard something along these lines before...if you turn up in a full suit of armour on a horse to an exam you automatically pass.

Also the one where you can demand a pint of lager during an exam and the invigilator/lecturer has to oblige.

the way i heard it was that you can demand a glass of port during a classics exam. allegedly someone did this, and the university fined him for walking across the quadrangle without a sword, or rapier, or something.

may also be utter bollocks.
