I'm thinking of staying in the halls when i go to uni but i'm not sure, how small are the bedrooms?

I need to have a decent(not huge) amount of space for my stuff so i'm still considering just sharing a flat/house, not sure really.

What are Caley's halls like?

dunno about Caley's halls in particular, but halls are a good bet for the general first-year uni socialisation bit.

i was at murano street (glasgow uni), lucked out and got a corner room with a double window and hunners of space in a flat with a cracking kitchen and balcony. as halls go, not bad at all.
