Oh, they're like 23, I think, so I dunno if that's youth culture.

I'm doing a literature review (which is like a dissertation only you get paid) I might use most of it for my OU dissertation next year but.

I'm looking for people to sit down and interview just now, espescially girls because I'm finding it really hard to get any that'll talk to me, so if she'd do an interview with me I'd be amazing grateful and bring you lto round some beers.

I can skip around the age part, I just need people who'd talk to me over a pint about music and lyrics.

just roll up to the Solid and sit next to the hairest, scariest person you can find. Usually works. Will ask around later for folks to give you a hand

Did mine during the summer, 10500 words on 'the working-class novel in post-industrial Scotland: masculinity, narrative and redemption'. It was all grand up until 4 days before the due date, when I was working 9-5 the whole way through and had barely typed a word. Got there in the end though.

Cheers for starting this thread, Rachael... just as the weightloss thread inspired me to exercise (mainly so I can boast about it on the internet) this thread's inspired me to get my teeth into my dissertation. Since that last post I've read half a short novel and a good few critical essays, sorted out most of my footnotes, made a start on my bibliography, and bumped my wordcount up to 4,700.

I'm aiming for 5000 words by the time I hit the sack tonight (do-able) and 7000 by the end of the weekend (maybe less so...)

It's still a total riot, but I'm getting there.

Ach... when's yours due? My department advise us to get it out the way in the summer after Junior Honours, so technically I'm about eight months behind schedule.
