Exams - when are yours?

Mine are the 29th, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 19th and 20th.

Mine are the 28th and 29th of this month, then the 14th and 15th of next. An okay breakdown but I wish the first two didn't fall so near the start of the diet. I'm also kicking myself (again) for picking Shakespeare "to get all the work out the road in third year" I had PLENTY of time in fourth year for another module, and could've picked a much more enjoyable one.

I had seven with English Lit! How did you scam your way out?

Thanks, I've already stocked up on good pens from Asda.

I'm doing joint English Lit with FTV studies, so I only needed to take four English modules... and Shakespeare wasn't compulsory, although it was recommended. (Grr...) My English dissertation counts as a module, so that means only three English exams. The FTV modules I took in third year had exams at the end of last year, and two out of the three modules I took in fourth year were assessed solely through coursework.

I remember at the start of third year I was doubting my decision to take FTV Honours, which I'd basically only taken cos I was amazed that I'd scraped through. Now I'm veeeery pleased about that decision, far fewer exams!

i dont have exams this year because education courses recognise that exams are shite and dont show anything but test of memorybut i do have:

essay on the 23rd (done handed in)
dissertation on the 30th (almost there)
2 essays and an art port folio on the 7th
essay on the 14th

White tests aren't an indicator of intelligence, I wouldn't say they only show memory skills. Time management, information retrieval, forward planning, maintaining a coherent thread of logic, handling of pressure, perseverance etc. are all important aspects of completing an exam well.

I'm so glad I'm not a fourth year just now!

I have an essay to hand in on the 8th, already handed one in yesterday. Only two exams on the 19th and 22nd

Both papers are on the 26th May. Resits for coursework/MILE (if necessary) are the next day, hand in after a week.

my distillers exam is a week on Monday, i got 27/33 for my mock paper so my faux studying must've worked somewhere along the line!
