| I joined the QM last year and i'll be joining it again this year.
It went into the GUU once during freshers last year and I didn't like it and i've never been back since.
I suppose I joined the QM cause it's the "rock union" and it's in the general vincinty of where all my classes are.I've never been to it at night though.

| The GUU billiards room is class. Its a real good atmosphere with it being all dark. the tables are good, some of the queues are lackjing in goodness tho.

| I consider myself well qualified to have a go at rugby players, since I was one for several years, having played for my school, Hillhead/Jordanhill, and GHK.
Obviously, I'm not gonna have a go at myself, so I'm implying there are exceptions to the rule... To be honest I use the rugger bugger thing to mean ex-private school as much as anything.

| Well i joined the Gu last year coz i liked it. i aint a snob, nor do i play rugby. The smoke room is amazin (even tho they have changed it in2 the fuckin shop this year!) the beer bar has tremendous seats, ales and puggies! altitute is cool as fuck! the hive is nice 2 look at and the billiards hall is possibly the best place ever 2 smoke a cigar! oh and the roll and sausage avec cup of tea in the GU is 2nd to none. So ill b joining the GU again this year. No more callin us snobs...OK?! Plus the QM smells funny.

| Qm has better food, bteer booze, better ppl, better gig venue, better events. Basically ppl tend just to join the union the majority of their classes r closest too.

| Most of my classes are at James Watt building which is near the GUU, i joined the QMU tho today. I prefer the clientelle that go there.
To join u just go to the union and ask where to join at the reception desk. At the qMU its upstairs at the food factory. My photo on my student card looks wierd

| no ones photo can be worse than mine i look like an umpalompah(sp) aparently they are things in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory film i cant remember what they looked like but im WELL mad about it its a mess
i joined the QMU simply so i can get cheep concert tickets i dont think i will be there much. i dunno why but i didnt really like it which is SOOO annoying cause i prefer the stuff there but i prefered the GUU for some reason it was perhaps the 60p vodkas that i had 17 of that clouded my judgement plus all the food ive had at the GUU was crap QMU pizzas MMMMM and the sandwiches for the skint days ie after day one of freshers week and every other day cept for the days of reciept of loan installments lol | |
