| Re: Darkroom food. I've had a couple of Union hot dogs in my day, despite the fact that they were clearly made from Seagull, i always thought they were pretty decent, especially for the small sum of 100 pence.

| Re: Darkroom food. lol talking of hotdogs i remember when i and a couple of chemistry buds headed to the barony after a particularly awful day in lab. It was about 4ish but amazingly still quiet...
anyway, drinkin pints of cider and black as you do, after about 7 in about 2and a half hours, i started to feel a bit gone as did my mates. so about half 6ish we went our separate ways, declaring that we'd all meet up at ten in Rufus before a night of fun at the Cat...
[it gets better...]
on leaving the uni, smelt the hot-dogs and remembered i hadnt eaten anything since the slice of toast from breakfast...
"xcuse me pal, wan a yer hot-dogs pleassse"
and so i sauntered out the union on way back to the halls, walkin in semi-circles and receiving disapproving looks from passers by. when i woke several hours later feeling very confused and rough i awoke to near enough a whole hot dog undigested lying amongst about a gallon of sick on my pillow, winking rather worryingly at me!
In my desperation of like "FOOD!" and severe drunkenness, the act of digestion, even chewing, escaped me!
never again have i had a hot dog from the union. that was 2 years ago. EEEUUUCH |

| Re: Darkroom food. One thing worse than the hot dogs, has to be the mircowave "chicken" burgers you get/got in the games room. I was once eating a hotdog, then vomited. I could smell hotdog all night. Got home, passed out, woke up the next day with a stuffy head. Still smell sausage though. I blew my nose really hard, and a lump of union hotdog came flying out. That would have been the end of the story if my dog hadn't eating it, throw it up, and then eat it again.
Im quite pissed that the Barony isn't open at midday anymore. I'm sure I can remember going in before labs and thing for a few quick pints, maybe I just imagined it. |

| Re: Darkroom food. Me and my mate at the time, Archie, went to the Barony and hammered several different whisky's in half an hour before going to Geography.
Both of us had to go for a pee several times during the class, and without fail, each time seemed funnier than the last.
The lecturer must have been raging.

| Re: Darkroom food. I tend not to buy food in the union. It always amazes me the random folk buying a hotdog on a thursday night, i just go for the much cheaper option of popping across the road to the christians who give out free toasties. Straight from god innit.
