When is the mission open?

Im going through to edinburgh on monday and we are looking for clubs to go to.

Would the Mission be open on a monday night at all?

If not, know of any other good places?

the mission iz fortnightly on saturdayz, i believe it waz open last night

The mission is every second saturdays alternating with Asylum which is similar to the Mish but doesn't have a goth floor and the music policy is strictly music less than 5 years old.

The Mission?!?!? Where is it??????? Where I ask?!?!?! I used to go years ago, when it was at The Rocking Horse on Victoria Street, but went back a few years ago, to find that it and Nicky Tam's had been changed to a crap wine bar and trendy up-market club!!!! I ended up at the Arena that night.... sheesh!!!!

When did it re-open? Or has it always been open? Please tell me...... Thanks!!

The Mission currently runs at the Calton Studios (aka Studio 24). I can't recall the street name - it's behind Waverley station, not far from the Bongo Club. It's been running there since leaving the Rocking Horse.

On a related note - Dysfunction at the same venue has sadly closed down - there will be two more nights of it before the organisers retire. Lack of attendees, basically. Thursday nights in Edinburgh will not be the same.

Calton studios... that would be on Calton road. Tried the Citrus Club on a Thursday? thats good too

That's the reason Dysfunction closed down...

They took all our punters away... Guess it was just a better night, with cheaper drinks. That no smoking at the bar rule is a wierd one though.
