I've been twice. Once, about six years ago, when it was in a big, three level building in the city centre which was minted and once about a year ago and it was in a kind of barn looking place and was a bit pish.

I've never had a problem with the mission always had a good night when there and the music is a decent mix. Don't forget to check out opium they're a pub with a small dance floor upstairs where they have different stuff every night and are open til 3am every night woo hoo!
Lol, my uni have just set up the Rock Society for this year and it started the night after exams finished, nevermind at least it's established for when I go back if I choose to partake, mind you it will just be full of people I know from my course (small union!).
