No, I wouldn't say that at all. The two floors are vey different; the goth floor is definitely aimed at the goth crowd (big surprise there), but the metal floor is equally aimed at metalheads. I think the metal floor's been great lately; I spend most of my time upstairs, but every time I go downstairs the music's great. Therapy, pixies, maiden, it just seems like every time I venture downstairs it just gets better. Still, it's been years since I spent more than half an hour down there.

If you want more specialised stuff, yes, you do have to shop around a bit. The weekday clubs at the studios are usually a bit more specialised, and there's the odd club at the Teviot union that caters for old school rock or goth.

There's a new club on this Friday there too, which is, well, a dance club aimed at the general alternative crowd, I suppose you'd call it... It's gonna be fantastic. Mind, I'm biased, seeing as I'm djing at it.

Hi guys.

Jordi here from the Mission. For anyone that doesn't know, I DJ at Asylum, The Mission & Mission Jnr. Interesting to read through all your thoughts on the club.
I'd like to get a lot more feedback from you all, basically, we want to give you the best night we can for £5. What do you guys think we do right, what do you guys think we do wrong? What do you like best about the club, what can't you stand?

Remember, the more feedback you can give us, the more we can try and change things. We all accept that the club hasn't been wonderful recently, but we are working hard to move things in the right direction, so please give me your thoughts on any of the Saturday clubs.

If you have any queries, I'll be round here quite often, so I'll try to answer these for you if I can.

Well i haven't been back to the mission yet... but i do go to opium whenever i've got a free night... and the citrus club on thursday's supposed to be good too.

I've been living here for nine months now and i still know sweet fuck all about stuff!!

Fan-fucking-tastic! Thanks for all the help guys, i'll look into all of these club/nights....
