Bottom line is folk have banter on this site, which is fair enough. The problem arises when they don't step off when it's blindingly obvious that a new user isn't privy to the in-jokes and therefore doesn't "handle" it.

Some users on this site really are horrendous bullies, I have to agree with Forbes here. It happens every day, a series of pathetic wee point scoring exercises.

Taking the piss is fine when you know the person it's directed at knows the score, but there are too many folk on here who are like wild dogs when it comes to turning on someone who can't defend themselves.

No peepee smacked just a polite request which I was happy to carry out. Even before it happened I was getting a bit tired of the constant pish appearing and reports about it. Added to the fact I've chatted to a few people with the same negitive opnions one I could let slide but when your getting a fair few mentioning it you start to think maybe your spidey since isn't wrong.

he took offence to ross saying "did gary glitter have a car boot sale?" if you fail to understand what is a very simple concept that has nothing to do with pedophilia or child abuse what chance do you have anywhere on the internet? he infered a meaning, and took serious offence to something that wasn't there.

there were questions on his sex, which he seemed to answer quite the thing, tam was quite honest and open about it and not abusive.

andrew edited a picture to show gary glitters head in his outfit. again, nothing to do with child abuse or pedophillia and yet he took it that way. as i read this there was little to no abuse untill he decided to leave.

this has all spawned out of a person persuming ross called him a peado. how are we supposed to deal with someone not understanding what someone else is saying?

It was painfully obvious that he didn't get the 'jokes' that were getting thrown at him and yet, some users seemed to think this was hilarious and an invitation to continue.

Just gives the impression that some of AN's users have absolutely no social skills when they act like that towards a new user.

Gives you an excuse to choose what's on the telly mind, that's what I do when my girlfriend is engaged with her dissertation.
