btw...see tbh, you can't just run to someone and whine any time someone upsets you.
The world isn't a nice place and if you get that upset over someone altering your photos then don't post them on the internet.

Yes and no some people are thicker skinned but then it doesn't mean we can't try and make the world better.

Why would you post photos if you couldn't deal with negative comments and/or reactions.

No one said he acted like or done the things that Gary Glitter did (eg.raping children), they merely said that his attire resembled something that Gary Glitter may have worn.

The guy/girl was a loon. Did everyone need to call them on it ? Probably not as it was plain to see.

Maybe it takes that loon to point it out. Some people on this forum are extreme arseholes for no particular reason other than to make themselves look cool. I've noticed it certainly. I do see what Ghostsuit means about this place not being as friendly as other forums, I use some other forums and this one is by far the most unwelcoming. and no, somebody please do not bring up 4chan!

I didn't know anything about the images being altered, complaining to an ISP is going way overboard though.

The picture was pretty much a nothing event in my eyes. It's more the attitude of a few users in this welcome thread that's over the top for very little reason other than to get their jollies.

Personally if that's how they want to have fun then I'd rather they used some other forum for it. I don't want this place to be sanitised but there's a line where it's just a bit of banter and when it's just being shit to someone for very little reason.

People could see this person wasn't taking it well, so what did they do?
a. Stop and back off realising they were upsetting someone.
b. Put another boot in.

If I'd thought of a funny and/or interesting way to put it I probably would've said so.

You've never got a bad attitude on here, I might not see eye to eye with you a lot of the time but that's different.

Please don't read the above sentence and just think "You've got an answer for everything", I had to think really hard to try and explain in the simplest way possible why what you just said doesn't make any real sense.

i actually went away and had a quick google and couldn't find anything about the ramifications of modifying somones photos. ryan/brian care to give us a quick rundown?

would it cont as exactly the same copyright? so they ask you to remove it and you're obliged to the same as if it was a pirated DVD or mp3 you were hosting?

Jsut because something fits a proverb doesn't mean it a reason for inaction either.
