Sorry, I'm not one to talk to - after today, NOTHING tattoo related can phase me! |

What are you gonna get anyway? | Hammers
I'm going to get them on my wrist, if I like them enough I might just keep going up my arm.
Sort of like these, with the colour behind them and maybe no red on the actual hammer. |

| Re: Wrist Tattoos Maybe ten years ago a lot of tattoo studios would have asked some searching questions before tattooing somewhere as public as your wrists, but these days it is really not such an issue. Tattoos are mainstream now, time to face facts.
There’s an old thread somewhere wherein I posted at length about the hassles I had since getting a blatant inner wrist tattoo … but I certainly can’t be arsed to go looking for it. The thread was something about a girly looking for advice on getting a finger tat, I think.

| Re: Wrist Tattoos I found my wrist a fair bit sorer than my back, but nothing too awful. Getting it covered up was sorer again, and it still needs gone over another time
TANGENT, but aye, it's fine. Where you going for it? |

| Re: Wrist Tattoos When I was getting one of my wrists done the needle kept hitting a nerve or something at one point. Wasn't sore, but made one of my fingers involuntarily twitch... only problem being the tattooist was a woman, so it seemed as though I was some kind of perv out for a quick jolly by flicking her boobies. |

| Re: Wrist Tattoos you could try emla cream if youre that worried. some places/sites advise using it isnt a good idea. basically, it numbs the skin - put on 30mins before and last about 30 mins. they say, the down side is the shock to the system when it wears off. which to me, if its going to be that bad, then youre going to feel it even without it.
not tried it myself, but for areas that are more sensitive than others, its worth a go.
next time i get more work on my back, Im going to give it a go
