surface scars

i am mourning the loss of my sternum and was wondeirng folks advice on surface scarring/how to help it heal up a bit.

most folk i have spoke to suggest vit E oil or bio oil (whats the difference?)
&how long should i leave it before using anything, for the week after i took it out i just doused it with saline to make sure it was cleanish while the holes closed.

this post is terribly written but i hope yous get the point.

once all the scabbing has gone you can start to try and heal them.

bio oil has extra things in it, fuck knows what they are though. (and i think it's probably a bit more expensive)

your scars should fade to white themselves over the next couple of years anyway, this will just help the process.

if i remember i'll try and get a picture of my flatmates sternum scars. they've been out for about a year now.

i swear by vit e oil. i used it when i got a big (well not that big) mingy prolapsey thing after i got my nose pierced and theres no scar at all. i just bought capsules and cut them open and popped the oil on 2 or 3 times a day.
