| Nose piercings Hiya, I got my nose pierced a couple of weeks ago and it came out whilst I was cleaning it today. I couldn't get it back in, it's one of the curved studs, so I went to a place (not where I first got it done as i'm nowhere near there just now) and the woman told me it was closed so pierced it again! Now I have two holes on the inside of my nose, actual rage! Also she's put a huge silver stud in it and I want my other one back in but can't do it! Anyone have any tips of how to get it back in? Thanks xx

| Re: Nose piercings Go to a decent piercing studio and they should be able to re-open it with a widening needle. If the stud is proving too difficult, try a hoop, however, failing that, let them both heal over and get it re-done on the other side. |

Nothing worse than an infected nose piercing.

Thanks xx | Do you mean that you want your original curved stud back in your nose or to re-open your old piercing? The person would have put a huge silver stud in (with a back attached?) to stop it falling out again. Unless you get a hoop originally, then most good piercing studio's will put a full stud in your nose. My advice is to leave the stud in for the next week then swap it with whatever stud you want to wear as changing it just now would run the risk of an infection. Quote:

Curved studs are FAR better, and anywhere reputable would use them. |

| Re: Nose piercings Thanks guys.
Yeah I wanted to put the curved one back in. I've tried and tried and tried, and stressed and stressed and stressed haha. The one she put in yesterday doesn't have a back and actually fell out when I laughed yesterday.....I was considering getting one of the labret studs, with the flat bit at the back? Anyone got an opinion on these?
As for going back to the place I got it done, it was in Edinburgh, and i'm up in Aberdeen til xmas cause i'm at uni...so can't go there.

| Re: Nose piercings I'm not reallyup on where's good in Aberdeen, so I can be of no help. I'd suggest going somewhere else though, because it sounds like they don't know what they're doing. |

| Re: Nose piercings Yeah that's where I went cause all i'd heard was good things about it. I think i'm gonna go and get one of the labret studs for it. Cause this one keeps falling out when my nostrils flare!
Complete change of topic but...I really want my lip pierced, anyone got it done?

| Re: Nose piercings Hmm that sounds a bit shit then if it was Richards! The only other reputable possible piercing place that I know of in Aberdeen is in Retro Rebels mayhaps?

| Re: Nose piercings labret - 1.6mm and normal nose piercings - 1.0mm. You can get micro labret studs but not in normal piercing places afaik
