| I'm looking for a tattoo artist
Hey I've had 2 tattoos done so far and I'm looking for a new one, not sure as to design yet.
I was wondering if there's anybody on here that is looking to build up their portfolio and would maybe considering tattooing me for a cheaper price or free.
I know it may sound a bit cheeky or that but i figured it might be worth a try

I still don't see what benefit there is to the artist here.
I see what you get, you get a free tattoo..What does the artist get though?

Hey, you're a painter and decorator. Fancy decorating my ENTIRE HOUSE for free, just for your portfolio? Then when people ask who done such a wonderfull job, I'll tell them it was you, and you'll get loads of business!

You'd be surprised, actually, many trainee artists do work for free or a reduced price but they usually have an input on the design. I have had work done on me for free by a trainee, but you tend to have to be a friend of the artist or his superviser. | |

He's no came on here and said, "I'm a suitable candidate if anyone wants practice".
To me, it seems like the request is "I would like a tatoo, who wants to do it for free
The only reason I'm continuing this, is because I'm really bored.

i wasnt saying that it was totally great and amazing that the tattooist would get practice. i meant that its about the only thing they would get.... you're so fast to disagree with anything i say Jammy. you need to cool your jets and take a deep breath before you reply to my posts. maybe a valium too....

Email: colinthelegend@hotmail.com | To be honest you would really need to know what you are wanting tattooed before most trainees would consider tattooing you simply incase the tattoo is out with their skill range at the moment.
i think once you have an idea of design you would have a bit more sucess or at least find out if it would be possible. and if your hoping for the tattoo to be designed for you AND tattooed for cheaper/free you might want to sweeten the pot by at least offering drink/cash/reward  | |
