Frivolous Tattoos - Page 5

To be honest, it's no the kinda thing I'd likely get tattooed, but each to their own. You look at the stuff I've got so far and I doubt many would get something like that done.

It means somethin to the person that has it and that is a lot better IMO than goin in somewhere, lookin at the flash, and goin "Aye, wan ae thaem".

So, its kinda like your comfort thing then? My younger cousin - now in her 20's - had a bundle of ribbons, and she would suck her thumb, with the ribbons in her hand, so that they sat between her hand and her nose....and i thought that was weird!

Yeah totally agree, theres so many tattoos I'd never get because I think they look hellish but others seem to love them so who am I to judge someone else.

Exactly. Different folks, different strokes. It's their body, so it's upto them what they get tattooed, no?

I love pointless tattoos, but what I have a major problem with is shit tattoos. If you're going to get something inked on you for the rest of your life you might as well make sure it doesn't look like a 5 year old drew it.

Exactly. I find cute, funny tattoo's, sweet. But, that is awful and barely resembles a tin of Vaseline. Also...vaseline? Really?

Im not gonna go down the "i never asked for your views" line,cause i think if you post something like i did on a public forum then you have got to expect that.

It does look a bit crap and nothing like my other ones,i will admit to being dissapointed when i saw it healing and how not very good it is.

but the fact is im not mental,i have my reasons for doing it,it makes me happy when i see it,and its for me and not anybody else.

so thats good enough for me.

the fact is,if you think its badly done then fair dos,but tattoos are personal and thats exactly what it is to me,shitty done and all.

I like the idea of the vaseline tattoo - as I said, I love really silly, random tattos - but the quality bugs me. My next tat could possibly be considered 'random' to people who don't know the story, but I don't care.

I still can't get over that despite it being tattoed on you, and despite there being 2 pictures of it, that a lot of you folk (including the recipient) can't spell Vaseline.
