Ahh, only seeing now that it could mean a love asylum belonging to Alan, in which case... sure. I presumed several people called Alan loved asylum. Google agrees Alan has a love asylum. Well, a Love Asylum, actually. It makes sense as is, but would pertain to the show if it had capital letters and an apostrophe.

well after having about 20 looks at it and being utterly depressed by shite it was,i went up to see red hot and blue in edinburgh about getting it covered.
he has drawn something up for me which will get rid of it totally and i will be very careful about i will let tattooed vaseline on me again.

i do think so of you were a bit shitty in what you said.theres being blunt and being rude,but not a lot i can do to change that.

RIPPING INTO HER helps no one other than to make some arsehole on the internet feel better about himself. So basically if people grow the fuck up and stop acting like wanks to people then I'll stop having to defend people.

If it means something to you, and you like it, don't get it covered up. For fuck sake especially not because of some cunt on AltNation with a superiority complex even though he's prob a wee nerd outside the forum. If YOU were happy with the quality then it's fine. It's your tattoo.

I agree entirely with Ghostsuit, some people are just too quick to criticise on here.

I second the 'don't get it covered up' - I honestly think you should keep the vaseline, but get it reworked into a nicer image. It means something to you and you like it.

You're acting as if the opinion of strangers on the internet matters, when it really doesn't.

You said it isn't even healed yet. If your not happy with the quality, then do the sensible thing and wait for it to heal then see about getting it touched up a bit by a better artist. And obviously don't use the same studio again if the quality is a problem.

Who exactly, Zippy, was I criticising with those statements? Nobody in particular is your answer. It was a general statement. I was referring more to the fact that she shouldn't cover up something she was happy with, and meant something to her, just because a bunch of people on an internet forum feel the need to take the piss.

I somehow doubt that she went through the pain and the inconvenience of getting a tattoo, was 100% happy with it herself, but is now willing to go through further pain and inconvenience to get it covered purely on the opinions of folk she doesn't know. Seriously, noone's that stupid. She said herself that she wasn't very happy with the quality when she left the shop - if she wants to get it covered then that's fine. If she wants to keep it then that's fine, too (although be prepared for criticism). Personally I think the best idea would be to keep the design (cos it means something to her and she likes it - other people's opinions mean fuck all on that matter), but get it reworked into a better tattoo.
