yes i am a grown man, who has been getting tattooed for over the last 12 years and certainly long enough to form my own opinions on what i want to be on my body for the rest of my life.

and it only took you 3 weeks to come up with that witty "and original" come back to, what i thought, was a fairly reasonable comment. as for touchy, not in the slightest. i understand that my tattoos are not to the taste of everyone but unfortunatly for everyone else they where done for me and me alone.

as this is the internet and just words on a screen i can understand that the tone of comments can be misinterpreted but so we are clear and up until now i would have like to think the tone was "civil" but please imagine this next part being spoken to you in a very condecending manner, like one would speak to a child.

i have as yet to see any evidence of any tattoo. original or otherwise from yourself and until that point the only thing "original" i can see from you is substituting "F" for "Ph" in your user name but please feel free to dazzle me.

FAO 'Tattoophreak': There's no point slagging folk's tattoos on the forum. Everyone loves every piece of work anyone's ever had done ever. I think most folk are just in awe of any kind of tattoo.

I just keep my opinions to myself most of the time, if they want to have something that I consider shite or poorly done scrawled on their skin for the rest of their lives then that's their problem, not mine.

I wonder if in the future, as body art develops, if star tattoos will become something that ties you to a particular time. Like the generation after ours might see people with star tattoos and know roughly when that person got it. Then maybe the trend will be a different kind of tattoo, until tattoos become the same as fashion. You look at the 70's and see big hair and big flares. 80's - different big hair and rolled up jacket sleeves. 00's, star tattoos.
