Nipple Piercing - Nirvana Tattoo - Info Please.

Hi folks,

Looking to get my left nipple pierced at some point and I tend to go to Nirvana when I want to get them done.

I'm an impatient git I know, no doubt I'll ring them tomorrow, but just incase one of you fine people already know, how much would it be without the jewellery?

Also, presuming Nirvana have Blackline Barbells (my prefered line of jewellery), are they suitable for initial healing?

About 20 bucks, if memory serves. They pierce generally with a stainless steel or titanium bar though, to minimize the risk of skin reaction .

Cant imagine its would be anything over £35 - £40 if not less, depends on the kinda jewellery you go for really but as you said without it i would guess that price range could be wrong mind.

Was just thinking more in that price range because when i was in the other week they charged a girl over £30 for her to get her belly button done.

I got mine done at Glasgow Piercing studio and was £25, so can't imagine it'll differ much from that. Was also £25 at a festival when I got the other done, so thats a standard price.

they dont tend to give black jewelery for healing tho.

yeah i think its a wee bit cheaper than GPC im sure they are only about £23 but it defo depends on the jewelery ya want

i've had blackline in pretty much all of mine to heal so they should do it. blackline bars normally come off about 5-10 quid more expensive than the same SS one (they're coated titanium rather than steel).

cost wise with blackline i'd probably budget £35 just in case. they should be open in half an hour though, phone number is 0141 552 5706 if you want to phone and find out.


i had a big paragraph here about how much effort a website for them would be to keep up to date.

as rikki said they do. I don't even bother getting non-blackline bars when I get pierced now as I'd only change them anyway. You generally need to ask for them though when they ask what jewellery you'd like or you get bog standard stainless steel ones.


Also, if you can dig out a snapax for this year you get 20% off all piercings or 10% off jewellery, so worth taking along with you if you have one.

My mate got her nip pierced recently, and it's semi-infected - one decent nip and one swollen shite one just makes a chest look really quite strange, haha
