Recommendations for studios in Edinburgh?

Hey all,

Well thinking it's about time I get my first tattoo! Spent most of the day hungrily reading up all the good advice on here. The only thing missing however is some recommendations for tattooists in Edinburgh - plenty of good ones in Glasgow but hoping not to have to make that trip. I've heard good things about Red Hot Blue Tattoo, but not much about elsewhere.

Do you guys have any recommendations?

Cheers,
D.

Edinburgh -

Spacey's Bizarre Ink (no website and I think it moved premises so I'll leave you to search!!)

Tribe - http://www.tribetattoo.co.uk/people

or good old Bill's Tattoo Studio - 73 Elm Row, Edinburgh, EH7 4AQ‎ - 0131 556 5954

Heard very good things over the past 12 or so years about these studios, so even tho I've never been inked myself, I have friends and friends of friends who have had good experiences. I've heard numerous good things about for example, Morag at Tribe.

I expect a lot of work from these studios might be on http://www.bmezine.com/

Tribe and Bizarre Ink are always the first to be reccomended although I have no personal references,

Me and the bf have just had tattoos done by Max at Old Town Tattoo on Blackfriers St. Really decent guy although the shop seems sorta tucked away and no ones really heard of it They have a Myspace with photos up of his work.

Check out Studio 13 on Jeffery St, which is just off the Royal Mile
www.studio13gallery.com

Jeff is awesome, Soap from Lab Munki in Stirling works here on a Thursday as well

I'd say the best in Edinburgh
