Weave Piercings

Hiya there.

Just registered and in a Flap, I do apologise! My job is residential...and the *explitevs* have locked BME and Wildcat and any other site I panic about piercings to, Im not impressed!

I was pointed in this direction by a fellow unimpressed-ee

But this site seems lovely and helpfull so here goes

Basically, I just got some surface weaving using PFT done on my wrist, about 4 hours ago. I have 4 surface bars as it is (2 collarbones and 2 napes) done with metal, and i have had no issues. My concern is that the weave will not stop leaking this odd clear substance, and as I mentioned before everywhere I usually search for answers is blocked.

I didnt ask the piercer cuz I didnt expect it to happen! But can anyone shed light on what this stuff is? It is literally dripping :s

Ta muchly

I second the Lymph suggestion.

Re: Weave Piercings

would be my guess too. Don't do anything different, just salt soak it the number of times you normally would and go back to the piercer and get it checked tomorrow if you're worried. It doesn't sound like anything's wrong with it, my nape lymphed a peach when i got it done as it's a really long piercing as was literally pouring down my neck. Salt soaks sorted it, but the visit to the piercer to check put my mind at ease if nothing else

You got any pictures of your new piercings? I'm quite interested to see what they look like

Re: Weave Piercings

Ah ha. Now that would make sence!

Ive banged a bandage over it for the minute just to stop it oozing everywhere whilst Im at work...will that slow up the healing do you think?

I will try and post some up if I get the chance. Its swollen up and bruised atm, not pretty, so Ill do it when Ive got it behaving. Really happy with them all tho, found a cracking piercer

Re: Weave Piercings

And its gone.

Had to remove it yesterday as whilst I was on holiday at my parents it got infected. One of the balls sank so far into my wrist overnight that it was barley visable...very odd, and seeing all the various layers of flesh was unplesant as well!

So its out and 3 of the holes are ok. The one that had the ball in it seems to have ruptured tho. There is a bubble of just well, ness, where the hole was and its not sore its just...odd...

Like a mini wrist hernia. Most bizzare! Anyone know what it could be??
