| Good tattoo parlour in Glasgow? Afternoon... I'm trying to find a good tattoo parlour in Glasgow to go to on Friday for my FIRST tattoo... I'm a virgin... and I'm slightly nervous!
Not of the pain... but that someone's going to make an arse of my tattoo and leave me scarred for life. Maybe that girl with the stars over her face just put the shitters up me! lol.
Anyway... I'm only looking to get a few simple ones to start with.
Any recommendations? the cheaper the better - however hygiene and a friendly, professional atmosphere are a must. Wasn't a fan of Forever More when I dropped in... they kind of looked at me like "wit ye dain here?!"
So the £100's I was looking to plough into tattooing over the next few weeks shall be resting in someone elses till....

Good luck

| Re: Good tattoo parlour in Glasgow? Some studios do get fed up of silly kids not knowing their arses from their elbows, asking stupid questions and being immature about a choice thats stuck with them for life. Not justifying what they done, but Fiona gets fake ID handed to her all the time and gets a little irritated by it

However I'm 25 and deadly serious about getting more than a few tattoo's.
Would be good to sit down with someone and talk about the designs and give me rough estimates of prices. It is an important decision and there has to be an element of trust. Can be quite daunting for newbie's with all the decisions.

| Re: Good tattoo parlour in Glasgow? So far Chameleon is looking good...
Problem is, I know it's my personal preference but the only way I can find out who I prefer is by trying them out... so people's opinions are paramount for me right now.

| Re: Good tattoo parlour in Glasgow? You're better off taking your time, going in to see an artist in a few studios and pitching your ideas. Have a look at what they've done before and then book an appointment in future.
In my opinion if cost is an issue or if you are just going to drop into somewhere on a specific day then you're not going to get as good or as personal a tattoo. |

Take your time. If you find that you are happy with the studio and artist but it's sounding a bit much for your budget, get another budget! It'll be worth the wait.
What kinds ideas do you have? Any ideas or examples of artwork you can post?

I actually love Jonny's at the barra's, he's an old hard glasgow man with a very VERY dry sense of humour but i liked him!! He knows his stuff!
