it has been decree'd that i don't tattoo well at all.

my back one is a mess beacuse its badly done, fair cop on that.

my duck is REALLY patchy, heather made a fantastic job of it at the time, but i don't think the bepanthen agree'd with me and made it really uncomfortable.

my cat is the tiniest silly black outline, and using only savlon a few times a day while it was healing........ there are gaps in it..... WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME BODY!!!!!! (i'll find pictures of everything just now and put them all up)

ducky looks like not enough bepanthen to me - because it's positioned in a place that will constantly be moving (unless you can nix that pesky breathing in and out stuff) the idea is to wet heal it - so *never* letting it dry out, until the dead skin sloughs off.

i've had fair results with bepathen, but mine was a tiny wee skull on my ankle that didn't really want to heal well due to my shit poor circulation.

have you got like really fair skin btw karbon? (not uncommon here in Scotland ofcourse).......yeah some people heal better than others and some people are allergic to certain ointments/creams.......I've only had an (kinda) allergic reaction to Bepanthen once so far, wich was on my back.......just some kinda rash appeared after using it for a few days so I just switched to Savlon and it cleared up pretty soon.......I have used different ointments over the years and I do find Bep to be quite rich actually so it might not agree with some people's skin......I also think that Savlon does not really do that much for healing the ink really but it is very mild though so might agree more with sensitive skin etc.......whatever works for you really.......I know some people that swear by Savlon and even know some people that use nothing at all and it heals fine!.......ofcourse you always have to keep it clean but that goes without saying
