Re: reasonably priced RAM upgrade? DDR cost a fortune now as nowhere manufactures it, like 2-3 times the price of ddr2.

Re: reasonably priced RAM upgrade? your best bet is trying the adtrader papers/ebay, you're unlikely to find it anywhere else these days.

Re: reasonably priced RAM upgrade? I'm in Irvine just now. The local PC shop sells it, but that's where it's £34. There was a much better PC shop, but it closed down unfortunately. Can anyone remember the name/website addy for the PC place just to the south of the clyde?

Re: reasonably priced RAM upgrade? Cheers doogie. Someone on eBay has 4gb for £59, but I'm thinking that's an unrealistically large spend for something that won't be applicable to any future PC that she would buy.
