Been running it since RC1 on my main PC and that's been fine apart from a compatibility issue with the in the box creative Xfi Drivers causing the PC to blue screen on install, then on boot up after that. Quick dig for Windows 7 Beta drivers fixed that right up.

Got a new laptop on Tuesday, will be upgrading it to 7 come December/January when Samsung open up there upgrade program.

Re: Windows 7

I have to say I'm pretty much in love with Windows 7.

Vista was just utter rubbish, had problem after problem with it.
Had to do a clean install to get the 64 bit version which sucked but def worth it!

Re: Windows 7

You have to remember, though, that Windows 7 uses Vista as a base. It's not 'entirely' new from the ground up.
With the RAM issue, Windows 7 uses 'round the same amount of RAM that Vista does, though they both use the RAM in a different way than XP or other operating systems before it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superfetch#SuperFetch)

Still, Windows 7 does have a decent improvement in performance, but I didn't really notice all that much on my current PC (2GB RAM, 2.8GHz Athlon X2, 8800GT, etc.), though there was a huge improvement on an older PC running XP.

Also, the new Taskbar is sexy imho.

Re: Windows 7

I wouldn't worry about upgrading, either.
I'd say we've come up to a point where an OS is simply personal preference over anything, as the performance gap between each is just a few seconds for most people, really (apart from the whole 'laptop battery life' thing).
