| Monitor woes Right, I've somehow managed to bugger up my display settings, driver or something so that my monitor has stuck itself at 1440x900 resolution as oppossed to the recomended 1680x1050.
The resolution can still be set to 1680x1050 but this results in the edges of the screen being cut off (until the mouse is moved in that direction then the oppossite edges are cut off).
Its an HP w2207h flat panel affair (and the drivers and HP My display software have been reinstalled but to no avail - claims monitor is not recognised as HP despite driver information to the contrary. Although apparently that could hace something to do with an EDIM (or whatever) chip... as it does seem to come up as "default monitor" after restarts...) connected to a Raedon 1650 series card (drivers and software for this have also been reinstalled) all running on Windows XP professional version (guffaw).
All that I can find google wise for this issue are advice that, when followed, doesn't seem to help the problem.
If anyone can help there is the potential for beer.

| Re: Monitor woes Just tried it on a willing accomplicies laptop - recognised the monitor straight away but didn't allow me to change the resolution above the afforementioned 1440x900 (although that is the laptops defaulr res. as well... if that makes any odds.)
Help?...

| Re: Monitor woes Ok, it appears running Eve online fixes monitor bugs...
Well its displaying the right resolution but the HP software still maintains its not an HP monitor...
